We write from the roof
My son Vlash and I have spent 15+ years on Calgary rooftops. Every guide, price range and repair method on this site comes from jobs we worked ourselves. When we say most winter "leaks" turn out to be attic rain, we counted that from our own calls. When we publish a price range, we pull it from our own quotes.
I approve every page
Our web team helps me put it into words. The facts, the numbers and the opinions are mine. I read every page before it goes live, and nothing publishes without my approval.
We show our sources
When we cite the building code, we give you the section number from the National Building Code 2023 Alberta Edition so you can check it yourself. When we describe an installation method, we follow the manufacturer's written instructions. Storm and insurance figures come from published reports.
We use our own photos
Our crew shoots the job photos on this site, on real Calgary roofs. When we show a manufacturer's product image, we credit the manufacturer. Our photos and graphics are © Vami Roof Repair Ltd. If you want to use one, ask us first and credit Vami Roof Repair Ltd.
We tell you where the limits are
A price range is a range. You get a fixed written quote only after Vlash or I walk your roof. We don't promise insurance approvals, and we don't call any shingle hail-proof.
We fix our mistakes
Codes change, prices move and rebate programs end. We update our pages when the facts change. If you spot an error, tell me and I will correct it.
